THE PROBLEM
Create an original AI short film for the Suite Dreams GenJam challenge — a late-night, dreamlike hotel narrative built entirely inside an AI production pipeline, delivered on a contest deadline.
THE CONCEPT
A hotel after midnight, where the building itself seems to dream. Corridor light, half-open doors, and the quiet logic of sleep — the hotel becomes the lead character in a drifting, nocturnal narrative.
MOODBOARD
- Late-night corridor light & vacancy signs
- Dreamlike slow drift camera language
- Cool cyan exteriors vs. warm lobby glow
- Surreal liminal-space framing
PRODUCTION
Built end-to-end inside the studio's AI-native pipeline for the Suite Dreams GenJam, part of Machine Cinema's Warsaw Glitch festival. Shot selection, generation, and edit were compressed into a contest turnaround without dropping the studio's continuity discipline.
AI PIPELINE
- 01Concept and storyboard pass for the nocturnal hotel narrative
- 02Environment and character generation with continuity locking
- 03Motion synthesis with slow, dream-paced camera moves
- 04Grain, halation, and sound design finishing pass
EDITING & FINISHING
Cut to breathe like a dream — long holds, soft transitions, and a soundscape that carries the hotel's presence as much as the picture.
FINAL OUTCOME
An original AI short film submitted to the Suite Dreams GenJam challenge, extending the studio's festival portfolio with a purely atmospheric, dream-led piece.
CLIENT IMPACT
- Contest entry for Machine Cinema's Warsaw Glitch festival
- Showcases the studio's dreamlike, liminal-space range
